The Maze

There is this awesome place close to our house called "The Maze". It has all sorts of different mazes to be puzzled. Mathys & I were very competitive in solving the mazes first. Lots of fun.

Funny guy...

Abbey Green (2)

On Sunday we showed Henko our future domicile :-). As our kitchen is not yet finished, we had some Kentucky in our backyard (the park across our house).

THE DELAMARE PARK

I took some shots in the park across our house.

BBQ facilities.

Kids playground.

The bush.

Can you spot our house, can you imagine it? A Little red at this stage, but will change in due time.

Drinking water for yourself & your dog.

THE BLOCK

Standing in our "pretend" living room.

Henko & Mathys measured all the sides and corners of our block. Now Mathys can play with the computer and design our house on scale to fit on this block. How exciting!!!

DISPLAY HOMES

We've been through all the display homes in Carramar. We gathered lots of ideas. After a good session back home with pen and paper, we had a pretty good idea of what we want and how it should look. Mathys's drawing skills helped a lot as he could produce a 3D model of the house on scale. We've already fallen in love with the place even though it's just on paper at this stage.

For everyone back at home. Here in Australia they have a whole street with display homes in new estates. You can then walk through the house and buy the plan as you see it. Pretty cool. You see what you get. These display home streets are our new malls for the next year or so. You get a lot of ideas from this.

Be on the look out for Abbey Green (3)....

Serpentine Falls

Last saturday we took a drive down south to the hills. It was beautiful as it rained the whole week before, everything was green and picture perfect. We visited the overflowing Serpentine Falls and did the "Kitty's Gorge walk"... it was an amazing connection with God's beauty.

We had coffee in the historic Jarrahdale... It was a perfect day - Except for the fact that I left my camera's battery at home... therefore no photographer. I did manage to boss Henko & Vonnie around to take some photos for me. Will post them in due time.

Helping Hands

Some of the painters that helped Vonnie & Siggi paint their house. We had lots of fun and hopefully did a great job too.

"Vele hande; ligte werk"

Work with a smile.

Henko: the paint should go on the wall.

Vonnie is well dressed for the occasion.

We love painting.

Dangerous painting.

Ange & Greg working together.

We are proud looking back on the days work done.

Janine's 17th B-day

We were young again!!!! We went partying for Janine's 17th Birthday. We played Laser Games... what a lot of fun we had. The scoring wasn't as good, but the laughter's made up for it.

Congratulations, Janine.
