End of year wishes

From us both we do wish you all a
Merry Christmas.

May blessings and laughter fill your houses and
hearts in this festive time and the year ahead.

Thanks for a great 2007. The memories are scribbled
into our hearts.

2008 awaits us and we are ready for the challenges
it holds.

We are packed and on our way to a short trip
to South Africa. We will return in the new
year with batteries recharged.

Christmas lights

Australia make sure they are not in the dark. It feels like daylight walking past these lovely decorated christmas houses. They actually switch it off by 10pm so that they can sleep without all the traffic. It really is a big competition between the houses here. I love the christmas spirit that's in the air.

End of year feeling...

Our new Home

We have been in our new place for just over a month now. We settled in nicely and feel very welcome. We are close to the train station, the shops and our favourite Italian cafe that provides us with the necessary Dinners. The lake is just one block down and our block of land is now a 10mins drive. We are right at home in the heart of Joondalup.

Rottnest weekend away

Yep, we took a break across the waters at Rotto. It was an amazing weekend with lots of fun and memories.


We stayed at the lodge and really enjoyed the place. It was beautiful.




Saturday was a rainy and overcast day... but isn't it still beautiful.

Tired

Mathys was tired after all the work needed to be done to move into our new place. Yes, he fell asleep on the train on his way to work, just to wake up in the lock up tracks way passed Perth. An old lady who tried to wake him up was stuck with him in the train. Luckily the train driver notice them and ensure they are on their way back to Perth.
