Prevelly

The 26th January was a public holiday - Australia day. This year we missed out on the thousands of people on the foreshore of the Swan River and the fireworks. Instead we went camping with Riana & Frikkie. We are still short of a lot of camping supplies, but we will get there eventually. Thank you to Riana & Frikkie that kindly provided what we needed.

We camp at a site 5km south of Margaret River, Prevelly. It was beautiful. The beach was beautiful and we spent hours in the water. We did a 4x4 drive with Frikkie's Pajero and end up at a small resorted beach between the rocks where we did some more snorkeling, until it started to rain. The weekend was extremely hot... went up to 42 degrees, but it was good to get away.

Frikkie & Mathys preparing breakfast on a portable gas bbq in the middle of the forest. Was beautiful. It took them a while as the forgot to bring matches or lighters with. After a few attempts they got it started with the car's smoke lighter and a serviette.
