We gathered a few South-Africans for a 8am breakfast on the beach. Food was nice, the wind chilly and the people great. A good early start promised a great day.
Bacon... yum-yum!
The kids kept themselves warm with a game of footy.
SUNDAY
Some dark clouds gave us a few nice showers during the day... Love the rain in this heat of ours.
The clouds didn't stop the guys to play a game of golf. Mathys, Henko, Greg & Kevin took a few swings with the Roo's as spectators.
See the Kangaroo's in the background, they are all over the field. This, while Liesel studied as she did the day before and the day before that day... 8 days to go before exams.
SATURDAY
Mathys picked up his new toy... a gift from a work colleague. Need some work, but nothing that two hands can't fix.
FRIDAY
We went for a nice refreshing morning swim in the beach. As we walked into the water we saw a Stingray passing us... we followed him till he went into deep waters. It was beautiful. Afterwards we enjoyed a nice lunch at our favourite restaurant on the beach, called Seaview - just 10mins walk from our house. Yum-Yum.
We attended a Riverviewchurch service, called "Broken for you", we were deeply touched and as always an awesome service. The drama, the story, the music... the worship, the God-spirit... more than the X-factor. Just impossible to describe.
