Ecstasy on four wheels

Awesome, accelerating, breath taking, pure excitement, pump up action is just some of the words that come to mind when I sit and think about my thrill ride in a Porsche 928 S4 last night. This car is 5litres of unadulterated grunt V8 horsepower, toped with 32 valves combined with an overhead cam system. For those that have no clue what all this techno babble means lets just use one word for it WOW!!!

I took the car out on an open road and decided that it’s time to see what this baby can do. As I became engulfed with the harmonious sound leading form the engine to the exhaust it was time. After running a quick safety check on the car as any responsible driver would do…

Steering wheel…… check
Gas pedal………… check
Stick into drive…… check
Breaks…………….. don’t think it was issued with breaks J
….. it was pedal to the metal as I felt 320 horsepower pull from that delicately balanced EFI motor through the transmition drive into the utter bliss of two tyres trying all they have to find grip on the road surface.

Well never the less it goes without saying that I might have broken every road law out there in the next 10 seconds… well almost, I did use my indicator….once, if that counts for something. That was all I needed to make up my mind about this car, 10 seconds. Lets do the math on this 0-100 km/h in just 6.6 seconds…. O yes and in this 10 seconds a brought it back to a full stop leaving my contacts splashed to the windscreen.

This thing is a monster; it’s a tiger in a cage, a must have for any motor car lover that would love to have a sports car for less than you can buy a new small car. That left there I have to say that I’m sold and I hope that things work out and that I’ll be able to buy her on Saturday. She will need a name though…. Any ideas?

You can definitely come to my housewarming ;-) Unfortunately, there's a tenant on a contract in there until Dec, and she's a single mum with two kids about to sit exams, so i'll let her stay a while and then have a bash prolly early next year I can't wait to have great people under my own roof ;-)
