We couldn't find any flights to Petchabun and drivers were too expensive for us... so we hired a car and travelled 400km north of Bangkok to Petchabun.
We couldn't find a good scale map in english either...but with a few hand sketches and a good look at google earth we did it.
It did get scary at times where the english signs start dissapearing, but we got their and it was definitely worth the drive.
The time with the kids were precious. It was short but every minute worth it.
The orphanage has grown and so did the kids.
Tired Mathys after a play session with the highly energetic kids...
They made us feel very welcome with lots of hugs, cards and blessings.
It was a privilege to visit Ban Meata for a second time and we do hope to return some time soon.
THE FARM
The farm was purchased by Riverview and provides food for the kids and some earnings. It's awesome to see how the workers have transformed bush into a fruitful farm.
We had beans for lunch straight from the farm... yum-yum
The bananna trees are beautiful...
Lots of fish farm ponds...
They are busy building another one...
